Neil Murray £4,018,314

Neil Murray and his wife Jennifer celebrate after winning a £4,018,314 half share of a Lotto jackpotAn assistant manager from a Costcutter store in Aberdeen is planning a new life after cashing in a £4,018,314 half-share of the Lotto Jackpot on Wednesday 6th June - with a ticket bought in his own shop!

Neil and his wife Jennifer are now beginning to plan how to spend their winnings and coming to terms with the changes it will have on the rest of their lives. Neil is considering returning to university to complete his law degree, where as Jennifer has already decided that at this time she will not be giving up her job as a special needs teacher at a local primary school, but does plan to use the winnings to indulge her passion for horses.

Neil said: "I usually buy Lucky Dips at the shop as it's obviously so convenient. During my break at lunchtime on Thursday I got a print out of the winning numbers from the night before to check my numbers. When I checked off all six numbers I just couldn't believe I'd matched them all so I asked my boss to double check. When he said I did have all six I was in shock and to be honest I still am. I can't describe the feeling of knowing the money is in the bank."

"Something we will definitely be doing is moving to a bigger house where we can keep horses, which Jennifer has always talked about since we first met. We'd also like to splash out on a new car and a trip to somewhere like New York or Sydney, places we have always dreamed of visiting. We have also been talking about starting a family soon, so the win coming now is brilliant".

Michael Fox celebrating his Lotto jackpot winHorse racing fan, Michael Fox, from Blyth in Northumberland, is now the odds on favourite to celebrate - after galloping off with the £2,745,415 Lotto jackpot on Wednesday 30th May 2007.

Michael is also an armchair fan of Formula One and is now planning a trip to go and watch the action live for the first time. As well as the Grand Prix, Michael is looking forward to sharing his windfall with his five children - Debra, Colin, Kevin, Susan and Michael - and his 14 grandchildren. Michael, who was at home on Wednesday night when he discovered his good fortune, also plans to treat himself to a Volvo car and a new house.

Michael said: "It's a dream come true. I always watch the Grand Prix on TV but could never have believed I would actually be able to afford to go. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy this incredible good fortune."

He added: "I was watching the draw live on TV and was checking my ticket as the balls came out. I couldn't believe it when the first four came out. When I realised I had all six numbers I was shocked. I double-checked everything and then started to spread the good news. I called all my children who were all very excited for me. I'm lucky to have such a large and close-knit family - it will be a real pleasure for me now to be able to help them out."

Michael Humphreys £1,000,000

Michael Humphreys celebrating his £1 Million Scratchcard win with his son, GuyThere are stacks of cash in store for the lucky manager of a local warehouse, after he bagged himself the top prize on the new £1 Million Cash Explosion Scratchcard.

Michael Humphreys, a Warehouse Manager, bought the £1 Million Cash Explosion Scratchcard from his local shop on his way to work at 5.30am on 23rd May. However, it was not until later on in the day, during a break in the canteen over tea and toast, that Michael remembered to play and scratched his way to National Lottery Scratchcard success.

Michael said: "First thing I thought when I realised I had won £1 million was simply 'I don't believe it'. I enjoy the excitement of playing scratchcards as you know straight away if you have won, and I have been playing the cards for as long as I can remember. I have won £10 or £20 here and there, but nothing like this."

"I called my partner, Shirley, straight away - she was speechless. She had recovered enough by the time I got home to have already got together a list of properties she wanted to look at, but I want to take it one step at a time. I have not even decided about work yet. They asked if I was going to leave, but I am really happy here so we will have to see."

Leeds United supporter, Michael, has two children, Guy and Leah, and he is looking forward to making sure their futures are secure. He also plans to buy a soft-top convertible, as well as looking at some of the houses Shirley has on her list.
