Launched in July 2002, Lotto hotpicks is a spin off lottery game that complements the regular weekend and midweek draws. The lotto hotpicks game enables you to win one of three cash prizes and is played alongside the national lotto each Wednesday and Saturday evening. Winners of the lotto hotpicks game have so far been paid a total of 190 million pounds, with over two million winning tickets sold since its launch.

Lotto hotpicks entails matching two, three or four numbers with the numbers drawn in the national lotto draws. Players pick two, three or four numbers between 1 and 49, and the amount of numbers matched determines the cash prize won. By matching two numbers, players can win £40; matching three numbers on lotto hotpicks will give players an impressive £450; and players matching all four numbers can claim the £7000 jackpot prize.
However, you do have to decide how many numbers you want to try and match before the draw. If you select a ticket to match two numbers, then you will win if you match both numbers. If you select a three number match ticket, you will only win if you match all three numbers, and get nothing for matching two. And, in the same way choosing a four number ticket means that you will have to match all four numbers in order to win anything.
If you wish to play lotto hotpicks but don’t want to play the regular lotto game, you are free to do so. Although the numbers for lotto hotpicks are the same ones that are drawn for the regular lotto game each Wednesday and Saturday, players do not have to be in the regular lotto draw in order to play their lotto hotpicks ticket.
How do I play Lotto HotPicks online?
